Hong Kong Wonton Noodle Soup

Ingredients:

1 package of Hong Kong Wonton
1 package (4 bundles) of fresh Cantonese egg noodle
1 bunch of green leaf lettuce, washed and chopped
1 bunch of green chives, washed and cut into 2 inch sections
Green onion, thinly sliced as desired
4 tsp of sesame oil
2 cans of chicken broth
4 cups of water

Directions:

Bring 4-6 quarts of water to a boil. Add entire package of wontons to boiling water and cook for 5 minutes. Remove cooked wontons from boiling water and divide into 4 large serving bowls. Add the egg noodles to the boiling water and cook for 1 minute. Cooking time for egg noodle may vary due to noodle type. Remove cooked noodles from boiling water and divide into 4 servings along with wontons. In a large pot add 4 cups of water, chicken broth, soup seasoning and bring to a boil. Add additional salt and pepper according to taste. To serve, add lettuce, green chives to wontons and noodle and ladle soup into prepared bowls. Garnish with sesame oil and green onions.
